Zoe-perry

Perry is born July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first TV roles included two episodes on the show as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in The ABC sitcom Roseanne as the character played by her mother. However, her parents did not allow her to act until she reached the age of adulthood due to the negative effects that stress could be able to have on their daughter. Perry claimed that she was too nervous to be an actor during high school, but started performing at Northwestern University as a way to meet new people after she transferred to the university from Boston University. Perry left for New York, where she landed small roles in series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Home sickiness caused Perry her back home California and theater roles were readily available. Perry's mother and I appeared on Broadway as a couple in The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she was a part of her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. She played the role of an older Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character she received the role through an audition.
