Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in the US. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Born and raised in an artistic family located in New York she wished to work in the field of art. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. In her first two films she received recognition and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was selected for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the top female box office starter in the world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
