Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress best well-known for her character Margo in 'The Magicians,' a Syfy television series of fantasy and drama that ran between 2015 and the present. The Alan Ball movie 'Towelhead,' she played the 13-year young Lebanese American young girl Jasira that goes through many personal challenges amid the backdrop that of U.S. invasion in Iraq during the Gulf War. The film was later selected by one of 'Variety's '10 Actors to Watch' in 2007. In 2009's film Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. The film also received her nomination for the Independent Spirit Award category for "Best female lead". As well as starring in numerous films, including Mooz-lum, The Last Airbender, Pop Star and ?Under the Silver Lake, she has acted as a guest in several television shows and has appeared in recurring roles in a variety of other films.
