Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage actor in several Broadway plays before breaking through to national prominence with Li'l Abner' in 1957. In the year 1957, she made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise was first seen as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre which was a dramatic released in 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the film. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully juggle between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director on popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
