Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been a popular American writer of cook books over the seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina started writing policy and nuclear energy documents in the White House. She initially adored the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she soon stopped her the interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. After nearly 18 years of making the shop a massive success she decided to sell it and started writing her first book. A number of other books and magazines followed. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut which was an enormous success. She sells many products, from ingredients for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina is an aspiring cook who has not gone to a cooking academy, nor employed in a kitchen. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward culinary style is widely known. Her most famous recipes are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
